Joust – 2005

The Joust Medieval Festival at Berkeley Castle. The weather was monsoon like, but even so it was an enjoyable day. Destrier undertook a mounted hunting games; Star Company performed an artillery display; the Towton Longbow men demonstrated the armour piecing qualities of the bodkin arrow and war bows; the Knights of Arkley jousted; various medieval reenactment groups took part in an impressive skirmish and siege of Berkeley Castle; topped off with two shows by the Mediaeval Baebes ;-)
